Management Profile

Comturn is led by Jack Iacobucci, a CEO with a successful track record of leading business restarts and financial turnarounds of under performing telecommunications and computer hardware manufacturing, software and service companies.

Initially trained in finance, his management career was broadly diversified during the Harold Geneen era at ITT. Following a ten year tenure with ITT, he held the Corporate Controller position of Hasbro, Group Controller position at WR Grace and V.P. Finance position of Sandvik, U.S. reporting to Percy Barnevek.

This ultimately led to the appointment of Corporate Controller of Northern Telecom, Inc., the U.S, subsidiary of Northern Telecom Limited (currently Nortel Networks). Later he led Nortel's distressed Data Systems Division (formerly Data 100 and Sycor) back to profitability. Subsequently as Vice president of Harris Corporations Communication Sector, he led the restart of their Digital Telephone Systems Division, after market repositioning Digital Transmission Inc., a telecom start-up to go public.

Most recently he led the successful restart and exit for the investors of several software companies, including the publicly traded Roguewave Software and VC backed Aristacom International and Line 4 Inc.
